  36. Yeah, $34.72 for processing the GST charge is kind of outrageous.....regular
  37. Post charges a fixed $5.00....which is tolerable.

  39. I get packages by DHL and FedEx...and AFAIK, the charge is just GST.

  41. I usually specify FedEx for delivery otherwise just regular post.

  43. This is because I work during the day, so I'm not going to be home when they
  44. make the delivery.  UPS always leaves a card saying they were there and to
  45. call them to try again....it takes a couple business days for the to sort
  46. things out and get it to me at work.  Yeah, they use a local courier for
  47. local delivery.....sometimes they remember to give me the local courier number,
  48. I should try to remember it, but I only get UPS deliveries when the shipper
  49. insists on ignoring my requests.

  51. FedEx delivers the package to me at the office....the FedEx guy knows where
  52. I work, and just automatically redirects it there when he sees packages for
  53. my home address.

  55. Canada Post leaves a card, and I walk to the post office the next day
  56. and pick it up.....including if the card comes on a Friday (since the
  57. post office is open 7 days a week).
